So here’s the thing about the Internet that continues to totally astound me. I just received a comment from Captain Suresh Sharma on my cactus photo. I love that some one on the other side of the world can connect to me over here through a photo. How cool is that?

I know. I know. We’re all supposed to be jaded, cynical and world weary but I continue to be utterly gobsmacked by it all.

And as far as astonishing stuff, Vancouver is awash in daffodils and flying/floating pink blossoms. The sea is in a translucent frenzy of indigo and deep green capped by exaggerated white froth and everything is just screamingly alive. Bring it on!
