My general formula for my students is “Follow your bliss.” Find where it is, and don’t be afraid to follow it.
Blueberry Bliss. Or Watermelon Mint. Or perhaps Peach Proseco?
Whatever exotic and fabulous flavour you can dream up, I’m going to bet that Batchworks Sorbet in Roberts Creek beat you to it.
If you’re planning a trip to British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast, make sure you take a little detour down to the village of Roberts Creek. It’s a funky little place with plenty of places to stroll. Check out the huge mandala down near the beach but enroute make sure you stop at Batchworks.
Tucked between the Gumboot Cafe and the Gumboot Garden Restaurant, you’ll find this little hut selling all wild and/or organic fruit hand-processed sorbets. You’re going to wonder what exactly was in that other pseudo-sorbet-stuff you used to eat. I’m sorry but you’re going to be ruined for life.
Follow your bliss, babies. It’s good stuff.
Sounds great. I’m getting soooo into gelato here in Umbria – My favs are coconut and limone. Ah, bliss indeed!
Umbria 🙂 We love all things Italian! Glad to hear you’re eating your share of gelato. When Kevin & I spent some time in Italy, our goal was to try a different gelato every day. I think the Italian word might be ‘porco’.
I knew our bicycle trip up the Sunshine Coast was too quick. I keep meaning to get back into that area with my daughter; when I do, we’ll be sure to have sorbet.
Hey Sharry, this sorbet place is brand new and SO good. There’s a few new places for you to check out. My deck will be waiting for you!
