Oh, my heavy sweet coffee
alone
or with friends
each sip of you
comes with a lofty idea.

What is it about coffee? I’m about to brew me a cup right and the simple thought of it lifts my spirits!
I’m with you Angie. I think it’s all part of that Pavlovian-response to the ritual of the art of coffee.
Funny life i find
Memories of my dear friendship with coffee…
I think its a friend for me.
Maybe i miss my friends (!?!)
Smiling at memories.
Grateful for deep friendship,
Coffee and real sweet deep people.
Ah Kathleen, your comment is very poetic beautiful and I couldn’t agree more with, “Grateful for deep friendship, Coffee and real sweet deep people.” Thank you 🙂
So true. If I drink coffee–espresso–after a long hiatus, I find I want to do EVERYTHING, RIGHT NOW!!!!!
It’s funny how that works eh, Mandy? The bizarre thing is that I’m down to one cappuccino in the morning and that’s it for the whole day. Because of when we eat lunch/dinner/supper??? at 3 pm, I’m not even drinking my usual afternoon coffee. But I assure you that I’m positively reverential when I drink that morning cup, especially now that I’ve found the perfect cafe only a block from here.
