We’re just back from a short road trip. Spent two nights in Auvillar with friends…one night was a cooking lesson with a local chef. Stay tuned for a new cooking video featuring Duck (done a la Divine!)
We spent last night in Millau (pronounced Mee-yo). Loved the vibe in that city and the view from our 8th floor hotel room was fabulous…if you look carefully off in the distance you can see the tallest bridge in the world. It spans the valley and is quite breathtaking. I’ve pasted a much better view of it below.
Catching up on laundry, email and relaxing before we go out for dinner. Not sure if I can keep up this schedule of constant good food. Seriously. Shouldn’t I get hungry once in a while?
Beautiful images – Millau is now on my list. So gorgeous in the countryside.
Laurie, the scenery there is stunning. The Gorges du Tarn is a gorgeous river with tons of kayaking and canoeing, with drives that include crumbling old castles and crazy ravines, switch back mountain roads and roadside Virgin Marys. Fabulous area.
