TGIF.
Once again, it’s time for Friday’s round-up of some great sites. Some are quite writer-specific, and a couple… not so much. Starting with this ‘not-so-much’ but so-much-more link to a magazine called Conservation Magazine.
It’s science and environmentalism combined with tons of smart ideas of how to implement those creative responses to some of our planet’s issues and it’s hopeful, instead of doomful. (My husband continually accuses me of constantly making up words – could it be true?)
The National Association of Memoir Writers has a great FREE teleconference you can join on February 10th. You don’t have to be a member to join in on the conversation. I’ve never done it before but I think I’ll be on the phone for this one. Maybe we’ll talk?
The Memoir Coach site has short and succinct posts (unlike most of mine) filled with heartfelt suggestions and good ideas.
Here’s a writing conblog from Narrative.com with some serious prizes. Not only is Narrative a wonderful daily read, this sounds like a great conblog. Good luck.
I’ve written about this site before but Jonah Lehrer has moved over to Wired and I thought I should note the change. If you want to find out anything about how our minds work (or don’t) this is the place to go. Great writing, great research and fun facts.
