I am leaving for the Langdale-to-Horseshoe Bay ferry. From there I’ll take the bus into Vancouver, hang out for a bit and then take the Amtrak bus to Seattle where I’ll stay in the lovely Fairmont.

HIGHLIGHT!  Have I mentioned that I would gladly live in a Fairmont…pretty much anywhere? Well, except Edmonton. It is a lovely hotel, but  nope…not Edmonton.

Tomorrow I’ll catch the plane to Dallas and then on to Pensacola, Florida. And then? Just one more shuttle/car ride to a condo in some place called Santa Rosa Beach. At some point I’ll hook into wifi and post something besides this traffic report.

So it will only take about two years to get to Florida but it will be lovely when I do. That’s what I hang on to as I go through the economy hell of plasticized sandwiches for $10.00 US…
