Ever notice how vacations and their images immediately become amber relics; sepia-toned perfection from a place out of time?

Memory plays tricks like that…softens the edges, romanticises the light; but sometimes your memory is right. It really was that beautiful.

This photo of the beach at the Rendezvous Resort in St. Lucia, was taken with my iPhone’s Hipstamatic app. Quite loving the effect of ‘back-in-the-day”. 

I can load photos now and do email because the good news is that the Jolly Beach Resort has wifi.  Of course that also means that the bad news is… that the Jolly Beach Resort has wifi.
