It feels like it hasn’t rained in forever, though I’m sure that’s not true. It’s wonderful to know it’s soaking into the soil and hydrating all those plants that were looking a tad parched.
We’re heading out to Kelowna tomorrow morning for a family get-together. I’m going to pile the backseat with books and plan on some serious reading-by-the-pool time.
I’m still in the process of transferring my last postings from my old wordpress blog to this new site. I’m missing some of the photos as I’m still figuring out how to do all this. But I shall prevail. I shall. I shall. I’m learning a few new bloggy tricks each day, so something’s bound to stick.
Meanwhile, my birthday present is on order and should be on the Coast by the time we get back from Kelowna. It’s a brand-new Surly Long Haul Trucker bicycle. Look out!
I’m parking the old special-needs Husky Soft Ride. She’s being replaced by the new tough-girl black Surly.
Surly Girlie & I will be joining Kevin for our run up the Sunshine Coast. It’s almost all organized. We’ll be leaving on May 31st and back home on June 5th. I’m hoping it will be a bike-bonding experience.
