This has been a bit of slacker day today which has given me time to cruise around the internet finding new links. Here’s a keeper…this blog is stuffed full of good writerly info.
I’m actually rather surprised we still have power. This storm started last night and the wind has not stopped. I just watched a piece of our gutter fly by the living room window. Our blue canoe went for a wee ride all on its own along the rocky bank and the wooden chairs are flipped forward, giving up in the face of such force.
And right this minute, a branch, the size of one of those super-high mall Christmas trees, just sailed across the horizon. I’m glad we don’t have too much of a high tide or things could get really wild. The windows and doors have not stopped grinding and creaking as they shift in their frames.
I’ve been checking out new WordPress themes as well in this day of surfing. I’m looking for a flexible theme that has a different colour format. I want something more compatible to my website colours but so far…no luck.
Of course, what I really planned on doing on this wide-open no-obligation day, was to write. Oh yes. Get on the memoir thing asap. But avoidance can be like it’s very own drug. And given enough time I can make avoidance into an art form. Jones me.
