If I were to get a tattoo, maybe this is what I’d ink on my arm as a constant reminder. Don’t do what you think is expected of you. Don’t do things that leave you feeling conflicted. Be clear as to what you need. Do that.
And if you do it all with the reminder to yourself that as long as what you’re doing embodies the Golden Rule of doing unto others as you would have them do unto you, well… isn’t that the basis of most spiritual truths?
