  1. Stunning photo choice, and beautiful poem. Thank you for putting it in my day!

  2. Thanks Laurie. So pleased that you liked the image & poem. I took that photo on our 300-km walk in Wales. Loved all those greens and then, miracle of miracles(!), I actually figured out how to overlay text. Look out!

I love the poem, it fits well in the photo. (Beautiful Wales. Do you remember exactly where it was?). I was interested in the Related Articles “Two Kinds of Intelligence”. Effectively there is an academic intelligence which allows us to remember facts and figures and an emotional intelligence which deals with kindness and compassion. I think that if more people had highly developed emotional intelligence the world will be a better place to live in.

  4. Catherine, I think you’re SO right. Heart over head. Wasn’t that what the tin man needed? Not sure if I recall that correctly right now…
What I loved about the poem was his emphasis on beyond wrongdoing but also going to a place beyond right doing. I think I get so caught up in trying to do the right thing (whatever it is) rather than to simply be, which is actually quite an effort-less place.
I don’t know where exactly that photo was taken, but I feel like I could just float over all that deep green :) Glad you liked the photo/text collage. It was a good learning project.
