If you’ve been following this blog, you’ll remember the photo of Rosie McMaster that I posted last week.

I finally had a chance to load up a little video clip I took of Rosie in her home in Antigua. She’s promoting her friend’s new fruitcake.

The reason we’re laughing about her new ideas is because the woman is absolutely manic in her approach to all of this. Her son keeps begging her to stick to a few products instead of her continual expansion. She can’t seem to stop herself from coming up with new products, tastes and plans, but it means she’s run off her feet between trade shows, competitions and actually making the sauces.

She had one pile of suitcases from her recent return from Miami or was it Toronto? She’s off to France to another show and the other suitcase was from a different trip.

Between the bags, the table piled with various sauces and brochures, her kitchen filled with more piles of business-related stuff, it looked like an explosion of colours had gone off in her house. 

I really enjoyed meeting her and getting a dose of all that barely-harnessed energy.

I brought home a few samples of her sauce and the reactions were just like mine…it really is fabulous.

When you go to Antigua and Barbuda, make sure you look her up. I just hope she’s home when you get there.
