I’ve stayed at Coastal Trek Resort two different times, both of those visits have been highlights in years that have been stuffed with lots of different trips.

But way, way up on that Forbidden Plateau ridge, I am always stunned by the silence and the wood-and-glass elegance of the place. It is quite an incredible location and somehow they manage to make it serene, homey and comfortable all at the once.

Did I mention the dark chocolate? Any fitness place that tosses me treats like that wins my heart every time.
